#7 Picture Story : The Flower Wall

Image
Guess where this is! If you've been here you'll know. Yes you guessed it right. It's in Cameron Highland. The flower park. Actually this picture was taken in 2017. I saw the wall of flowers and asked a friend to take a shot of me holding one of the blooming purple cutie. It was only the color of the backpack that did not seem to catch my eyes real strong. On the whole, I love this capture. The different tones of the color of the flowers is what liven the wall. On top of all, greens are always captivating to the eyes right. It lifts the entire photo to another level of mesmerizing shot. As usual, to take a great photo need several attempts before that as this wall is not even on the top edge. So I needed to move myself to the left and right a little bit to make sure the whole frame filled with the flowers. Luckily this friend of mine knows how to turn a photo into a wow shot. Hence, the result.

#6 Picture Story : The 'Umrah Memories

Image
This one is at my mother in-law's house that I captured yesterday when I went back to pay a visit. Those mini story-tag pictures are some of their memories performing 'Umrah during Syawal this year. It was my husband, parents and my sister in-law. Even though those pictures are not framed very well, as you can see there is a slight vacant space at the bottom of the frame, I thought it still looks good the first time I saw it. It's because of that mini story-tag photos themselves. These kind of photos never fail to entertain the eyes; especially mine. To adjust the basic settings of the picture was with my Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and the first filter was using again, VSCO and back to Lightroom for an extra filter.

#5 Picture Story : Modern Mamak

Image
This is a picture I took at Modern Mamak; a restaurant in Setia Alam. My family and I dropped by here for an extra family-bonding time after finished watching  Rambo : The Final Blood.   I happened to take a glance of this view upper my head and as to my artistic eyes, it's very captivating with those bulbs lighted up that created the incandescent atmospheric and alternately decorated with the small hanging Malaysia's flag. I captured a several photos before I decided this one is the best. Edited it using my two favorite apps which are VSCO and Adobe Lightroom and finally came to this. I ended my night with a plate of Maggi Goreng and a cup of Fresh Orange Juice!

#4 Picture Story : Silhouette

Image
We had triple dates together, eating and making conversations at a restaurant by the beach. After we had finished filling up our tummies, we decided to photograph some memories with the sunset as the background. This is another photo that I captured myself, trying to make these group of people as the main subject of the picture. The silhouettes just take this photo to another level of amazing capture that I am proud of. I just love unprepared poses in photographs because it creates a very natural and meaningful view. You can just look at the photo time and time again without feeling bored and somehow feel a connection to it. It also gives you this calm feeling looking at it.

#3 Picture Story : The Veil

Image
This is a veil at a mosque that I went to once. For my readers that don't know what a veil does in a mosque, it separates the women section from mens'. It is compulsory to isolate the women and men in one place to avoid fitnah in Islam.  This is a mosque in Sementa, Klang but I can't remember its name. This mosque is newly built. It has this contemporary design on the outside but a little too simple on the interior design. Probably the committee will think of how to improve the inside appearance so it doesn't look so lame. On top of all, I was taken by this view you're seeing. I feel serene looking at it. There was no one praying here at that moment except me and the thought of locking this pretty view occurred to me.

#2 Picture Story : The Artifical Cornered Tree

Image
This is also from my work place but on level 3. I was doing some inspection on the assets of the building when I saw this decorative lonely tree at the corner. It was against a white wall so I know for sure that if I take a photo of this tree, it would stand out well as a minimalist picture, and there you go. I toned down the saturation a little so it has this subtle slow color to it. Now, isn't it captivating? ;)

#1 Picture Story : The Quraan

Image
A picture I took in women's musolla at my work place. I was trying to capture a minimalist photo and still trying to master it until now. I read that minimal photography is much more attractive as it focuses one thing only while the rest of the picture is empty. It does look attractive to my eyes because you have nothing else to see in the picture except the five Quraans on the shelf.
